Bangladesh's total amount of land is 143, 998 square kilometers. The amount of water is 13,830 square kilometers. The total renewable water resourcs for Bangladesh is 1,127 cu km.It borders the countries of Burma which is 193 km, India 4,053, and the coastline is 580 km. The land use of Bangladesh's arable land use is 52.97%. Bangladesh's irrigated land is 50,500 sq km. 82.3% of the water is fresh. 16.8% of the water is not fresh. The total population of people in Bangladesh is 57.7%. The population under the poverty lines is 31.5%. The drinking water source in Urban areas is 85.3% and in rural areas is 82.4%. In unimproved rural areas is 17.6% and urban areas is 14.7%. The sanatation facility acess for urban areas is 55.3% and rural areas is 54.5%.

Location:

The physical location of Bangladesh is Southern Asia, bordering the bay Bengel, between Burma and India. Their climate there is tropical, mild winter (October to March); hot, humid summer (March to June); humid warm rainy monsoon (June to October).

Dieases being caused:

The less of water is causing dieases and water infections. One water infection is HIVS/AIDS. Waterborne diseases that are being caused is bacterial and protozoal diarrhea, hepatits A and E, and tryphoid fever. The water contact diease is leptospirosis.

Economical Scarcity:

Bangladesh's water scarcity is economical. This is economical because they are having a lack of investment in the water. The cause of the water crisis in Bangladesh is that the water is being polluted. The water is being polluted because the people who were supposed to be investing the water weren't paying attention, causing the water to become even more contaminated. What is being done to decrease the water pollution in Bangladesh is that companies are drilling wells, so people can have fresh clean water.

Recommendations:

Recommendations for Bangladesh's water is that they can observe the water more often. Also they can create a water flow that will bring people that do not have fresh water to clean water to drink. Another recommendation is that more people, and not just companies, can drill more wells. You can also look for more groundwater.
