For My science discovery i am doing the tree frog. Tree frogs are a diverse family of amphibians that includes over 800 species. Not all tree frogs live in trees. I think that is weird because their name is the tree frog.Tree frogs come in many sizes, but most arboreal species are very small, since they rely on leaves and slender branches to hold their weight. Tree frogs are consumed by many different carnivorous animals. Mammals, reptiles, birds, and fish all eat tree frogs. Therefor my science discovery is on the tree frog.
2-14-15 My science discovery is on elephants. Elephants are the largest land animals on earth. Elephant can grow up to 8.2 to 13 feet shoulder to toe and weigh 5,000 to 14,000 lbs. The weird thing is that elephants eat grass. A group of elephants is called a heard of elephants. A baby elephant is called a Calf. The larges elephant was 25,000 lbs. Therefor elephants are really large animals.
