For my science discovery I chose to learn more about monkeys. Right now there are 261 different kinds of monkeys. Some people think that apes are a kind of monkey but they aren't. An interesting fact that I found is that some monkeys can live on trees while others live on the ground. While most monkeys have tails some do not. The last thing I found about monkeys is about the spider monkey. These monkeys are called spider monkeys because of their long arms and legs.

For my science discovery I chose to learn some more about elephants. Elephants are the largest land mammals in the world. Something strange that I found was that female elephants are called cows. I was very surprised to find that elephants are able to swim! An elephant uses its tusks to dig for ground water. An elephants trunk is probably the most important part of the elephant. It is able to determine the size, shape, and even the temperture of an object. So in conclusion, elephants are very interesting animals.
