For my science discovery this month I chose to do blood. Blood makes up about 7 percent of the body weight. Blood contains red blood cells and white blood cells. It even contains platelets. Red blood cells develop in bone marrow and circulate in the body for around 120 days. Many generous humans around the world give blood donations every year. This blood is used in important blood transfusions or made into medication. Blood helps kill viruses. Red blood cells have the important job of carrying oxygen around the body. They also contain a protein called hemoglobin. Hemoglobin contains iron which combines with oxygen to give hemoglobin and our blood, a red color.

For my second science discovery this month i choose to do gasoline. you may think that gasoline smells good ( i know i do) but when you smell it you might get a little light headed or get a headache short after. gasoline is not good for you body and the fumes are toxic. because the cruel oil is made up of a mixture of hydrocarbons, refineries break down these hydrocarbons into different products. these "refined products" include gasoline, diesel fuel, heating oil, jet fuel, liquefied petroleum gases, residual fuel oil, and many other products.
gasoline is the lifeblood of most human transportation systems. when cars run the gasoline turns into exhaust and helps create global warming more savvier. gasoline causes a lot of the worlds fires. many lives are lost because of it!
