Climate and Terrain

The climate is tropical; warm and comparatively dry along the Southeast coast; hot and dry in the North and the dry, dusty Northeastern Harmattan winds blow from January to March also there are droughts. The terrain is made up of mostly low plains with dissected plateau in South-central area.
