This week I decided to do my science discovery on the F-22 Raptor. The F-22 was made by the company known as Lockheed Martin. This plane is a dual engine single seat aircraft. Capable of all weather conditions and is a stealth fighter. This plane was built for the United States Air Force. It has been flying since 1997 it`s a fifth generation fighter. This fighter fly's all over the world, from America to Japan. The fighter has three weapons bays to carry bombs and missiles.

This week I decided to do my science discovery on the F-4 Phantom. The F-4 Phantom is a twin seat twin engine and a long range supersonic jet. It was adopted by the Navy, Marines, and Air Force. It has a mach speed of 2.2, The ancestor to the F-4 is the FH3. It can carry and 18,000 pound payload, It can carry air to ground and air to air missiles. It was developed without a frontal cannon. It was mainly used in the Vietnamese War. It was a superiority fighter for both the Navy and Air Force. It was replaced in the 80s and 90s by more advanced fighters.
