My science discovery is on a pencil. The markings that a pencil leaves is not lead but graphite the make a grey or a black mark when you write with it. Around 1564 they discovered a large deposit of graphite. Which they then made into sticks, and in 1812 was the making in America of the first wooden pencil.

In America members of the Buteo group are called hawks, but in other parts of the world they are known as buzzards.The hawk migrates in the the fall. The young hawks will leave its nest as early as six weeks.
