When I was told to make a science discovery I thought about something that really interested me that i wanted to learn more about. So I went with something that has to do with computers. Computers are machines that can process a lot of data at once. They can also solve elaborate math problems. We use computers everyday. So imagine a computer that can make our computers look like a simple calculator. A Quantum Computer. These computers have super fast processing speeds which allow it to solve problems in a matter of seconds that would take our computers millions of years.

For my science discovery I wanted to figure out how a engine in a car works. After a bit of web browsing I found out that the engines in our cars are known as a Combustion Engine. A combustion engine works by using fuel. The fuel goes to a thing known as a spark plug, this ignites the fuel. Once ignited the fuel explodes near pistons. The pistons are pushed by the force causing the engine to run. When you push the gas pedal it adds more fuel allowing it to move.
