Whitetail deer have a brown-reddish coat in the summer and greyish-brown in the winter. They are found in north and south America. When the whitetail deer senses danger its tail goes up. The average deer lives 6 to 14 years. It also weighs between 110 to 300 lb.

The groundhog also know as a woodchuck is one of the 14 species of marmots. The groundhog hibernates in the winter. When done hibernating (usually February 2) it comes out of its hole. We call this groundhog day. If it doesnt see its shadow we will have spring. if it sees its shadow there will be 6 more weeks of winter.
