Chickens go into a passive trance-like state when they sleep at night. Consequently if you need to catch and handle a chicken that is not very tame, you might want to do it at night after the chicken has settled down to roost. I think chickens at a very unique animal.

A platypus has a sleek furry body like an otter. Platypuses are among the few venomous mammals. Males have a spur on the back of their hind feet that is connected to a venom secreting gland. A typical platypus is 15 inches from its head to the end of its rump. Its tail adds and additional 5 inches to the animals length. Platypuses weight about 3 pounds. My personal opinion is that platypuses are an ugly animal.
