The size of tarantulas can range anywhere from the size of your fingernail to bigger than a dinner plate. Like most spiders, they have 8 eyes. A tarantulas diet mainly consists of insects, small lizards, and even birds. Tarantulas also have many enemies like, Snakes, lizards, birds, coyote, and foxes. Male tarantulas can live up to 10 years, but the female tarantulas can live up to 20 years. Females lay about 2000 eggs that will hatch within 3 months!
