My science discovery is on reptiles. There are about 8,240 species of reptiles in the world. Some that are around here are Alligators, snakes, lizards, and turtles. Some reptiles have live birth, however more have to hatch eggs.
My science discovery is on black holes. Mathematically speaking anything can become a black hole. This can happen because everything has whats known as a ''Schwarzschild Radius''. For instance if we made the size of Earth go to the size of a peanut we would have a black hole. Light can't escape black holes. This is because the density is so large that the gravitational pull couldn't overcome it, so now light can't escape it. Since black holes make things around it bend if we were to actually look at one by a star, it would look like a ring around the star. < That is known as ''gravitational lensing''. Also if Earth were to orbit around s black hole, half of Earth would be on one side of the hole until the other half got to the same side. And as we got closer we would start to see darkness. The darkness would soon take up half of what we see. This is called ''Photon Sphere''. Black holes don't just take up space they take up time as well. If someone was watching you jump into a black hole they wouldn't see you go really fast into the hole, they would see you get slower and slower. However if you were the person jumping into the hole time would seem normal. If you were to jump into a black hole you wouldn't die instantly, instead you would be floating for hours until it started to hurt. It would start to hurt because the hole would start to stretch you out. However this isn't called stretching it's called ''Spaghettification''. If you were to experience this all of your molecules would be ripped apart violently.
