My first science discovery is on brain tumors. Brain cancer can be caused by a tumor. Scientists have found new and different ways to remove the cancer cells without cutting into the skull. They can do it microscopically with tubes. Tumors in the brain can cause hillusinations and can cause unusual dreams. People who operate on brain tumors are called neurosurgeons. In the operating room, they always have a cardiovascualar and plastic surgeons.

My second March discovery is on the American Alligator. American alligators live in the swamps and wetlands of the South Eastern United States. These gators have a population of over 1 million currently.
These gators are reptiles and weigh about a thousand pounds. An alligators lifespan in the wild is 35-50 years. They also can grow to be 10-15 feet long. These reptiles have lizard like bodies, muscular tails and powerful jaws. Scientists say that this species is more than 150 million years old. The American Alligator is heavily populated in Florida and Louisana.
