I did my science discovery on the chinchilla. the chinchilla originated from France and were brought to Ireland in the 1800's but they were imported to America in 1859 because of the chinchillas eating their crops. chinchillas are great house hold pets for kids if they are domesticated if they are not domesticated they have been known to be aggressive .
