Lizards are reptiles. Some lizards can actually detach their tails if they are threatened and caught by predators, I have seen this in person. I was in Florida visiting my brother and I caught a lizard and it detached its tail and got away. Most lizards generally eat lizards. There are many types of lizards, chameleons, geckos, iguanas, and komodo dragons. A gecko has no eyelids.
