Ticks- Ticks are arachnids that feed on the blood of mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. They are an external parasite in the order of Parasitiformes. Ticks can carry many diseases such as Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, tick paralysis, or many more. You can find ticks just about anywhere you go in the world but you will find more in warmer, wetter climates because they need a certain amount of humidity to undergo their metamorphosis. Ticks' bodies are divided into two parts: The anterior capitulum, which contains the head and all of their mouth parts, and the posterior capitulum. containing the body. legs and all of its innards.
