My science discovery is about rabbits. First their scientific name is Leapus Carpaeums. Also more than half of the rabbit population is in North America. They are plant eaters and like to eat fruits and vegetables, they also like to eat hay and grass. Rabbits have large ears that can grow up to 10 cm
11/10/14 My science discovery will be on snow flakes.First how they are made, they start as water droplets and as they pass through other clouds they bump and knock others and becomes a snowflake. Also a snow flakes shape will never be the same. There was 1 snowflake in Fort Keogh, Montana, USA, January ,28 ,1887 it was 38 cm wide and 20 cm thick!
My science discovery will be on why trees lose their leaves and how it happens. First they lose their leaves to save energy and protect themselves. Also they lose their leaves to help pollinate during the spring. How the trees lose their leases is very complicated first the tree creates a layer of cells witch forms what is called the separation zone Then after the leave falls of it makes a protective layer around were the leaf fell of. the leaves also fertilize the area around the tree to help new ones grow
