For my science discovery I am discovering cows. I got the idea of discovering cows because I was riding by a farm in the car. I found out that the first cow in America arrived in Jamestown colony in 1611. Also in 1856 Gail Borden invented the condensed milk process. Did you know that dairy cows provide 90% of the world's milk supply. Also did you know cows have 32 teeth. In conclusion I picked cows for my science discovery because I think they are fascinating animals.
For my discovery this week I am doing red tail cat fish. I am choosing red tail cat fish because my dad told stories about his catfish. Most Red Tail Cat Fish live to be four feet long and have a life span of 20 years. Red Tail Cat Fish cot their name from their red or orange caudal fin. They are from the Pimelodidae family. The normal temperature that the cat fish live in is 72-82*F. They are normally found in the Amazon River Basin, Brazil, Rio Negro, and Venezuela. In conclusion Red Tail Cat Fish are a giant animal that lives in the water.
For my science discovery I am discovering Rats. I am discovering rats because I think they are interesting creatures. I was watching this video on YouTube and and there was this video about rats, so I clicked on it and it showed that each of the rats eyes can look different was at the same time. Also did you know that Rats have very poor vision. Another fact is the oils in cedar and pine are toxic to Rats. A fact that you would probably never think of, do Rats have thumbs. No Rats do not have thumbs. In my opinion I thinks Rats are really fascinating because they can look two different ways at the same time. http://farmadvisor.com.au/parasites-pests/rats-mice
