I've decided to do my science discovery on Orioles. Orioles are birds I will talk about the birds not the baseball team. Orioles live up to eleven years old in the wild in captivity they live to be about fourteen years old. Orioles average weight is about one point nineteen ounces. They are about six point seven to eight point seven inches long. Females are olive green on the top and mostly yellow. Male are white in the wings and orange underside that goes up to much of the face. Males also have black on the back,crown, and throat. www.yourbirdoasis.com

I'm doing my science discovery on Rainbow trout. Rainbow trout usually mature at the ages of three through five. They can grow to about six to sixteen inches long. Rainbow trout can live to be about eleven years old. They live in the cool waters in the northern hemisphere. Rainbow trout are blue, green, yellowish, and have a pinkish red horizontal stripe by the gills, they also are white on the underside and have little brown black spots. www.fly-fishing-discounters.com

This week I'm doing my science discovery on Cinnamon Bear. These bears can live to be ten years old but they can live way past that all the way to thirty years old. They are eight ounces at birth and adult can weigh from 203 to 595 pounds. They are great climbers, good runners, and excellent swimmers. They look like a black bear but the color of them are unique. They have some dark brown and a lot of really light brown that's wear they get their names from because their fur look like cinnamon. ipfw.org

I'm doing my science discovery on Ash. Ash may be extinct soon because of the ash borer. My dad works at a saw mill and we talk about Ash a lot because it's our favorite type of tree. He's the one who told me about the Ash borer. Ash can grow to be about 20-35 meters or 65-114 feet tall. They can grow one to two feet wide. The Ash tree can live up to 50 years and longer. Large Ash trees can die from the Ash borer in three to four years. Ash borers lay their eggs on the bark of the trees and when they hatch they start eating the trees and bore into the trees.
