For my science discovery this week I decided to research cats. When I researched them I found out that they are strong, flexible, they have quick reflexes, sharp claws and teeth adapted to killing small prey. Cats have poor color vision and better sense of smell. Also cats are the most popular pet in the world and are now found in almost every place humans live.

For my science discovery I choose to do Pine Trees. I found there are around 115 species of pines that are divided in 3 groups on the type of leaves, cones and seeds. They can reach from 10 to 245 feet in height. Most pines grow up to 147 feet.Oldest known Pine Tree lived until the age of 4800 years. Most Pines have thick and scaly bark.Wood from pines is used in the manufacture of furniture, roofs, floors, railroad trails and parts of the ships.Lifespan of pine depends on the species.

For My Science Discovery I caught a cricket and researched them. I found out there are more than 900 species of crickets. Usually only the male crickets chirp, however some female crickets do as well. Crickets, like all other insects, are cold-blooded. They take on the temperature of their surroundings. In warm/hot weather they chirp more/loud, in cold weather they don't chirp as loud/much
