For my science discovery I chose to do a praying mantis I hope that you learn as much as i did doing this project. So does anybody know what a praying mantis is? Does anybody know what a praying mantis looks like? Has anybody ever seen a praying mantis? Well for those who don't I'll tell you about them. Praying mantis's are red, orange, green, and yellow. They can get up to six inches long and two inches wide. If your jogging it would be hard to spot because they blend in with nature so well. Female praying mantis's carry their eggs with them for a time,depositing them finally into a walnut sized cluster. When a mantis is little it will loose it's exoskeleton as many as ten times depending on which type it is. So there is some information on praying mantis's and like i said before i hope you learned as much as i did doing this science discovery.
