My science discovery is on earth worms. First there scientific name is Haplotaxida, they also are earth dwellers. if you want to find them all you have to do is dig one or two inches, or when it rains they often come up to the surface, that's why after it rains you see flocks of birds pecking at the ground. An interesting fact about them is that they can regrow their tails like lizards, also their maximum life span is only 10 years. Imagine that we would already be dead!

My science discovery is about the American robin. First I will tell you about where they migrate, for summer they stay in most of the United States except for places like Florida and the bottom part of Texas. In the winter they stay in Mexico and in the bottom part of the United States. There average length is about 20-28 cm, wingspan 31-40 cm, weight 2.7- 3 oz

My science discovery is on ants, to start of ants are very powerful for their size. In fact they can lift 20 times their own body weight. Sadly their lives are limited to only about eight and a half weeks. Also there jaws open and shut sideways like scissors. Now I will talk about their colony at night the worker ants carry the baby larva down the deepest part of the nest. In the day time they clean out the rubbish from the nest and put it else were.
