Do minor wounds (cuts, abrasions) heal faster with or without a bandage?
Hypothesis-Minor wounds (cuts, abrasions) heal faster with a bandage.
Controlled Experiment-A wound without a bandage.
Experimental Experiment-A wound with a bandage.
Other Variables-Age of the wound, brand of bandage, ways the wound was treated, what conditions the wound was in.
Independent Variable- The independent variable is whether it has a bandage on it.
Dependent Variable- The dependent variable is the wound. It is the only thing that is not being changed.
How to conduct the experiment- 1.Have 2 wounds, that have been exposed to the same amount of air at the same exact time. 2.Have one group of about 50 people and another group with about 50 people also. Have group A have a bandage over the wound and have group B not have bandage, check every 4 hours to see which one heals faster.
