Does someone wearing hairspray attract more insects than someone who is not?
INCLUDE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING WITH YOUR EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN: [remember it must be a controlled experiment] 1. A hypothesis: A person wearing hairspray attract more insects than someone who is not 2. Explain how to set up the experiment:
brainstorm a list ofall the variables that must be kept constant during the experiment:the amount of hairspray, same blood type, same insects, same temputure outside, same type of hairspray, same size of insects, same type of hair, same age of people, same age of insects, same race of people.
include identification of the independent variable: Hairspray the humans are wearing
the dependent variable: The insects being attracted to the hairspray
identify the control group: the human without the hairspray on and how many insects they will attract
identify the experimental group(s): The human with the hairspray and how many insects they attract
3. Provide enough details for someone else to set up your experiment: First you have to find people of thesame blood type, same type of hair, same type of hairspray, same age of the people, and the same race of people. Next you will have to fing the the same type of insects, same age of the insects, same size oft he insects, and also the same tepruture outside. Then you will identify the independent and dependent. Next you will rfun the experiment.
