Does the size of an aquarium determine how large the fish will grow?
INCLUDE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING WITH YOUR EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN:
[remember it must be a controlled experiment]
1. A hypothesis: The size of an aquarium dose not determine how large the fish will grow that are in the tank.
2. Explain how to set up the experiment:
brainstorm a list ofall the variables that must be kept constant during the experiment:The kind of fish, the size of the aquarium, what is being feed to the fish,if there is salt water or fresh water in the tank, the size of the fish being used,if the tank is indoor or outdoor, the tempter of the room if inside, the climate if outside, how much water is in the tank, the tempter of the water, the number of fish that are in the tank, how old each fish is,the gender of the fish,
include identification of the independent variable: The independent variable is the size of the aquarium
the dependent variable: The size of the fish
identify the control group: tank A
identify the experimental group(s): tank B, tank C
3. Provide enough details for someone else to set up your experiment There are 10 fish in the three fish tanks. Tank A is the stander size fish tank. Which is ten gallons. Tank B is is five gallons, and tank C is 15 gallons. They all have goldfish in them. All of the goldfish in each tank are males. The tempter of each tank should stay the same through out the experiment. They get feed every night. They get the same amount of food every night. Another thing you need to do is measure each fish every night after you feed them. Do this for a week. Make sure you write down all the measurements.
